  15. Beginning in the 17th century and evolving to Korean K-Pop dance that was a few years ahead of the US in this style choreography. And Toni Basil deserves a mention of influence on the modern era of dance.

  17. Molly Long is so amazing- love her!!!

  18. She is as and even more amazing than her dancers! Awesome choreography the best I have ever seen, and I have been in your business!

  19. ā€œMy girls don’t always winā€ no offense but I know these types of studios. Named after someone huge and they overcharge to be on their team, and they never win shit. Then on the flip-side, I have been on squads where we take national championships every single year for every single squad they have in the entire building.
The latter of the two changed my life and the way that I approach life …. and probably instilled within me the very mentality that has saved my life in hard times. The former— taught me nothing.
I love her dance style and have no doubt she’s amazing. But I hope she figures out who is running her studios, and I hope she finds her some coaches who like to win. All it takes is dedication. But if you put in the hours at that age— practice 3-5 hours every single day , rain or shine, and you press , your girls will take nationals. All you have to do is practice more than everyone else. It’s doable. And it’ll open doors.
But I just can’t stand these studios that are named after someone who put everything into their own career, but don’t push their girls to do the same.
It’s exploitation of their time and finances. when they only have a finite amount of time at that age to make an impact for their careers and lives. If you can’t provide consistent wins, let them go to a studio who will actually push them
