That is not something you can dismiss with “I’m a non-fan but…” Comparing her to Rami, Rora, or Rita is also unfair. Each member has different vocal colors and strengths: The Golden high notes require power, which is why the part was assigned to her. Saying “someone else would do better” is baseless—nobody has proven that, and it ignores vocal suitability. About “Ahyeon taking the spotlight,” “getting pushed,” or “wanting attention”: These things are decided by producers, choreographers, and camera directors—not a rookie who is only 18. She doesn’t assign her own lines or choose her own camera time. She just performs the part she is given, and she executes it well. That is not “being pushed”—that is simply doing her job.
And for people claiming to be fans while joining the negativity: real fans can give constructive feedback, but they do not throw hurtful comments at their own bias, especially when she is already being attacked. No fan wants to see their favorite constantly dragged for things she didn’t even do wrong. And yes—idols read comments. If it hurts us as fans, imagine how much it hurts her. No one is asking everyone to love Ahyeon. But if people want to criticize, at least do it based on facts, not misinformation or bandwagon hate. She’s an 18-year-old rookie with real talent, real effort, and real pressure on her shoulders. She does not deserve the level of harshness she’s getting. That’s all. Just be fair.
